A proposed 1,200-megawatt facility targeting operation in the 2031 to 2032 timeframe, bringing energy resilience to the region and millions in tax revenue to support the local community.
We aim to bring new reliable energy generation, built on efficient infrastructure, to Hertford County. The Project site is adjacent to Highway 11, west of and outside the town limits of Ahoskie. The site was chosen because of the existing electrical and natural gas infrastructure both on the site and in the area.
The Project would help provide significant tax revenue, jobs, and energy resilience in the area that can benefit the residents of Hertford County. We are seeking a mutually beneficial relationship between Ahoskie Energy, the Town of Ahoskie, local residents, and utility companies.
The project site covers approximately 105 acres. Plans for the facility are designed to keep disturbance to a minimum for the neighbors and natural resources around it.
